Margaret Mannix was born on February 9, 1891, the fifth child and third daughter born to John and Ellen.Known as ‘Maggie’, Margaret attended the local Catholic school as a child. The Mannix family was a very close one, and in particular the two sisters Maggie and Mary shared an especially close relationship. They lived together at 355 Victoria Street, west Melbourne, before their respective marriages. After her marriage to Matthew Wason, Mary moved to 13 Ross Street, Coburg. When Maggie married Michael Considine, they raised their family at 46 Ross Street, close by to the Wasons.
Maggie and Michael Considine had six children:
A) MARGARET CONSIDINE: born March 11, 1919.
B) MICHAEL FRANCIS CONSIDINE: b September 2, 1920.Married Patricia Myles.
C) EILEEN CONSIDINE: b March 2, 1924.
D) MARY CONSIDINE: b September 30, 1925.
E) JUDITH CONSIDINE: b June 5, 1926. Married Michael Sullivan in 1949. One child Maureen.
F) THOMAS CONSIDINE: b February 13, 1928.
Maggie and Michael Considine had six children:
