Thomas Bourke was born at Kilmore on April 19th, 1855. He was baptised on April 22 by Father O’Rourke, and his sponsors were John Dwyer and Mary Ahern.
After this, the life of Thomas Bourke is a complete mystery. He was aged 24 in 1880 when his mother Bridget died, and noted as being 31 on the death certificate of his father.
In 1891 he was a witness at the funeral of his baby niece Annie Bourke at Burramine. After that, I can find no trace of either a marriage or a death.
